Tutors
If
you are looking for a part time job, one of the most interesting
and fulfilling professions is becoming a tutor. For many people
looking for employment, it is important that they contribute to
something and give back to the community or provide a valuable
service. Tutoring is very respectable and you can have an enormous
impact on many students, whether it is a child, teenager or adult
seeking to get ahead academically and succeed.
For people looking for an interesting job that is extremely flexible,
tutoring is at the top of the list. For most tutors, working with
their clients is extremely convenient and they can choose a schedule
which is very flexible for themselves as well as their clients.
With tutoring, you don’t have to sit behind a desk for 8 hours
a day, you can be out in the community and meet people for a few
hours each day, or evening.
Tutoring can also be a great way to earn some part time income
or supplement your full time income. You won’t become rich tutoring,
however you can make a great hourly salary for doing interesting
work that actually enhances another person. While tutoring rates
vary by age, subject manner and location, most tutors can easily
make between $12 and $15 an hour.

Daily
word for kids!
adversity - September 4, 2010 (noun) a state or condition that is contrary to one of well-being. |
For many people the real draw to tutoring is the ability to enhance
a child or adults knowledge, broaden their interests, and boost
their confidence so that they can succeed academically. This is
truly a noble and respectable profession much more important than
many other part time jobs that add little to yours or someone
else’s life.
Whether it is tutoring Math, English, a foreign language or a
musical instrument, you are providing the knowledge, attention
and time a student needs in order to learn difficult subject matter.
Most students have lowered self esteem because of poor grades
and difficulties with learning, however working one on one with
a student gives them an enormous advantage to work at their pace
and for them to ask questions without being ridiculed. As a tutor,
you are able to nurture students and help them learn difficult
subject matter enhancing their knowledge, raising their confidence
and helping them succeed.
If you find that you would rather teach an artistic skill such
as art, a musical instrument or a technical activity such as computers,
you can add culture to a student’s life and broaden their understanding
of the world. There are not that many jobs that allow you to have
such a tremendous positive impact on another person.
Not only will you be teaching another individual, but usually,
you also will learn as well, creating lesson plans and uncovering
interesting information to share with your students.
If you are looking for either part time income, a way to supplement
your full time income, or way to give back to the community by
enhancing an individual, these are all excellent reasons to become
a tutor.
